California, some think of surfing. Yet, I moved to the dessert.

Somewhere in the 120 Degree Summers and the 40 Degree evenings, just goes to show how things can change in a few hours from calm relaxing breeze to trying to kill you sand storm.

Something I don't tell many people is that I love the heat.

Honestly, what I love is the lack of humidity. The ability to be dry while hot is remarkable.

Then you have the ocean, the sandy beaches, and the surfing man's waves of choice.

So many times you can cast your eyes out into the ocean blue and see everything you could want as a surfer.

Also worth the mention is the thriving Tide Pools full of life and wonder.

How could you resist not setting up something of the sort at home. After all it is a passion of mine.
