Beautiful Romani or Gypsy woman.

The beautiful Romani people also known as Gypsies because white Europeans believed that they had originated in Egypt. Today we know that the Romani are originally from Punjab region of India. They are descendants of Dalits who fled India after a war. They headed north and never returned home.  Romani have an amazingly rich centuries old culture. They have given the world many artistic gifts in the form dancing and guitar playing and other arts . They have an amazing work ethic. It is believed that Spanish Flamenco dancing was introduced  into Spain by the Romani. Today they are spread all over the world. They have adopted the language and religions of their respective nations. And unfortunately at times they have been persecuted for simply being different. Isn't the young lady in the photo beautiful.
