A Crocodile sighting where I went swimming an hour before :(
After a day of relaxing with the family and a whole day of fun and games in the water like every weekend.
As we started to pack up my wife noticed something in the water 10m away from where we were sitting,
We thought it may be a hippo but with inspection of the video I took we noticed it was not a hippo but in fact It was a crocodile between 4 and 5 meters, judging from the size of its head.
After contacting the wildlife in our area it was confirmed it was in fact a crocodile....omw.....
All that we can say is welcome to Africa :)

I appreciate nature and wildlife but to see that to me would be terrifying, knowing that I was just in that water and it could've bitten me or my family. But that's not to say crocodiles are majestic creatures and deserve to be in that water and their natural environment, they've been around since the dinosaur days.
OMW I'm shocked... just to think it was there the whole time while your family was in the water... just glad it did nothing to you guys...
Is it a swimming location? any news on the crocodile?
@steemitsupporter Yes, it is a local sim area in our town. yes I followed up with the wildlife board and they said they are still on the lookout for the crocodile and if they locate it they will relocate it back to the main river
