IN SEARCH OF EMPLOYEMENT, WHERE THE HIRING PROCESS IS BROKEN!

There are millions all over the World that are overqualified for a certain position they applied for, but they never get hired just like a thousand more like them who had applied for the same position just to try their lucks and maybe earn a living. Fortunately many of this people never even make the first cut in the Electronic hiring processes.

Reason being that, people/recruiters often get carried away with policies and compromise values, and policies are defined to add values. One of the uttermost reasons why recruiters and Human Resources Managers cannot find the right people for vacant positions. The qualities they needed are not written down, not on a resume but in the right person; computerized screening processes cannot access human's Experience, Training, Capabilities, Skills. Hard-work and Loyalty.

Meanwhile, many of this ideal candidates get frustrated trying to get their Resume through this Electronics screening processes, many could knock the Recruiters socks off if they get to a stage to talk to a real person. But these never happen as employers set unrealistic expectations for positions that do not require many qualifications to reduce applications. BA or MBA required?

For older candidates that had once been in jobs. it is hard, very unfortunate reality because their chances of getting a face to face meeting with a recruiter are tiny. Worse scenarios yet is if someone has an employment gap or they are over a certain age, they may be considered as OVERQUALIFIED!

There are in existence too many qualified candidates being eliminated in Electronic screening processes or overlooked, this is knowledge and talents wasting because no human factor is considered in the hiring process anymore. But since these employers still works with human beings and not Robots, they need to add a human touch to connect with people and look at real persons in job screening processes.

Employers needs to be proactive if they want the best skills and talents; then they should stop looking for "Perfect Resumes" or "Perfect Candidates" and focus on the values an individual can bring and add to the organization.

It breaks heart when those that have the capability and experience is been denied of an appointment all in the name of electronic screening processes.
Attention is not focused on ability again but rather what people claimed to have written down in paper. Some will even set high standard of years experience thereby the hagile and intellect fresh graduate will be disqualified.

I just hope the recruiters focus more on ability and capability
