How to admire your culture- Tradicional colours cure soul

In order to find out what we had forgotten, in one small village in Serbia, Vujetinci, we organized one Manifestation called Bungurijada. The point of manifestation was to prepare the old dish we used to prepare in last century in Serbia. The dish is called bulgur, and itis maid from large-grain wheat. This wheat is cooked with water and grease for few hours and after the dish is cooked, milk cream and bacon are added to it. But eating was just small part of finding out our national paths.

After the dish was prepared it was given to the people for free. Everyone could enjoy a forgotten taste. But the point of this gathering was youth. Young people could again wear our forgotten folklore costumes and dance our national dances. It was just a beginning of getting to know our colors again.

There were more and more colors to see! The young people danced again.

And not only the young ones. Even the old one wanted to be part of it. It was also really nice to see them dancing too.

For least one day we lived like we used to live before.

For all those who didn't like the old dish, there was more to offer. We had a chance to try lot more of national specialties!

After everything passed, we knew we found out our colors again!
