Former NFL Star Aaron Hernandez Commits Suicide
Around 3:05am this morning, Aaron Hernandez committed suicide by hanging himself with bed sheets in his jail cell. Mr. Hernandez was a standout tight end at the University of Florida and for the New England Patriots. Plagued by off the field issues, Aaron Hernandez dropped to the fourth round of the NFL draft even though he had first round talent. Recently, he was acquitted of a double murder, but was still serving a life sentence for the murder of his friend Odin Lloyd in 2013.
It is sad to hear this about Aaron. He was a great football player, but dealt with many demons internally and hung out with the wrong crowd.
Wow... This is unreal.
I know - we were just talking about how an appeal was possible and that he may be playing football again someday
