We need to work on war footing to start tree plantation in Pakistan. Unfortunately the forest cover area in Pakistan has come down from 3.% to 1.9 % which is very alarming situation. As a general rule the forest cover should be 25% of total area of the country.
We need to enhance it to alleviate the worst effects of climate change which includes flood, intensive heat wave during the summer.
Imran khan's regime has shown strong resolve to address this issue to protect the country and its people from its devastating effects. We all should contribute to the success of this campaign.
