Eyes On The Mark

One of the easiest and simplest ways to distract a man and swing him off the course of pursuing his goals is to present him with an entirely different goal that might appear to be related or similar to the one he is pursuing; and before he would realize what has happened, he would have had divided attention. Remember this; that a goal is similar to yours does not not mean it is the same as yours.

The truth is; if you do not have a proper idea of the destination you are enroute to, then every place would appear to look like it. That is why you need to be fully in the know of your gaols, and define them appropriately. The goals you do not define, how do you hope to fulfil them?

The fulfilment of a goal begins with setting one in the first place. If you refuse to set your own goals, then other people with a set goal would hire you to help them to actualize their own.

But setting a goal is not where it ends, you need to set a time frame that would propel you to give in your best. Without giving yourself a target, then there would be nothing to meet.

But in fixing a target for yourself, you need to fix something attainable. Getting an outrageous target would only lead to discouragement, and that would mean you have not fulfilled the target. Imagine if you give yourself a set target to learn how to fly an airplane in 3days, you might end up being discouraged. So give yourself a reasonable target.

Once you have set the target, give it all it takes, and at the right time. Because a delayed action can; sometimes; be equated to a total non-action. So do your own part of the deal and watch how the rest would fall into place.
