Blame others - A corporate secret strategy!

in #life5 years ago (edited)

Yeah, you heard it right. You have to learn to blame others!

If you are in corporate life or planning to jump there, set your mind to do this. Otherwise, you will never see success in your job life. It's not that heard actually. You have to be a little tricky on this.

It does not sound ethical, I know. But I am not saying to blame others without any reason.

Let me explain!

If you are working in a project, in a group and the output does not come out as expected and all you are getting punishment, mistreatment ie.; don't take everything in your own head. Try to put every other's mistake on the table.

Notice closely what mistakes you have done. APPROVE IT. But don't let others or your boss think you are the only one who is guilty of everything. Show them other's mistakes. If you can't do that you will be on the looser side. Believe me, it works.

You may think it will break your good relationship with other colleagues. If so, don't do that in public. I know I sound selfish. But if you want to survive you have to do that. Every single person does that in the corporate sector. Don't think others are a saint. They also follow this dirty little secret.

But yeah, remember this is not all. If you play the blame game all the time and does not put your efforts improving yourself and contribute for the organization, you will be the one who is gonna get the most blame. So don't put yourself on that position.

Don't blame others if they are not guilty. Don't give any miss information to your management. If will come back to you in a hard way. So keep that on the mind. I am talking about 'save yourself first' Technic. Bring other's guilt to make your's less important and noticeable. That's enough.

Corporate life is heard. If you are a newcomer, you have to struggle to fit in the culture, get the politics of the office, understand the environment of the place. Be strategic and rock your job life!

I totally agree with you. Been there done and seen that. If you cannot use these type of strategies to defend yourself in the jungle that corporate life is, you might be in the wrong place.
Sometimes it's not only helpful, but quite necessary to blame others for a project that went wrong, especially if you worked as part of a team in collaboration with another team. You have to put the blame on others not only to save your own ass, but also to defend your team's reputation, your colleagues will love you for that and, of course the opposite team will hate you (even more), but war, be it individual against individual or team against team is part of the corporate living.
