My aunt had one until it died a few months ago, and she was so adorable. She loved human's very much )) I think they need much love just like other pets.
I read up on the breed before I went to see Cookie, not a lot, just a little, I was hoping this bird would like me LOL - but characteristics vary from breed to breed, like with any animal.
I incl. the snippet from that blog post today to tie to my experience, maybe it will help someone else someday too!
