Now I lay me down to sleep
As I lay me down to sleep, I looked back towards the very first day of the year until the very last day today.
As I lay me down to sleep, I reflected back the journey I had from the beginning of the year until today.
As I lay me down to sleep, I cherished every second passed by until the very second today.
Looking back throughout the year, from the beginning until today, there were happy times, sad times, crazy times, down times, uplifted times and so many to name.
I cherished those happy times.
I reflected those sad times.
The happy moment made me feel younger and alive.
The sad moment made me stronger and wiser.
Looking back and reflected the journey, it made me appreciate the people I knew and the people I just met.
The people who was there encouraging me during the times needed.
The friends who knew to laugh and enjoy the simplest of things.
The people I cared who was there in my sorrowest moment and was there to share my joy.
Yesterday is gone. Tomorrow has not yet come. We have only today. Let us begin. ~ Mother Theresa
After an incredible journey, today I've learned to cherish even the smallest of things.
After an incredible journey, the past made me who I am today.
Today, I've learned to not let my past shape me.
Today, I've learned to not let my present let me down.
Today, I've learned to not let my future tells me who I am.
