MUSIC YOU NEED TO LISTEN TO RIGHT NOW!! - #3

Here are a few songs im listening too today and why. Hopefully this post will get more engagement than the other few i've done! I suppose new concepts take time ;)


1)Brian Mcknight Covers Whitney Houstons - "I Have Nothing"
This is a very authentic Brian Mcknight song - he is absolutely amazing singing in his bedroom. He talks about the song before he plays and sings it.. fantastic. Skip to 2:43 if you want to get to the singing.. Wait until he hits those high notes!!!!

2)Barenaked Ladies - One Week [Bathroom Sessions]
Some of you may remember this tune.. A few local Toronto boys singing one of their bathrooms (sounds amazing)... This song used to drive me nuts - but great Harmony..

3)John Mayer - Comfortable
This is the best version of this song period. If you arent familiar with any of Johns work (or dont like him) give this a listen..

4)Steely Dan - "Do it Again"
This is a latin sounding song (sounds like a Santana song). Most people have this album at home "Catch a thrill".. its one of those records everyone seems to have but nobody listens to! Steely Dan is a perfect example of jazz/rock/pop fusion.

5)Peter Frampton - Baby I Love Your Way
Most basements around america have "Frampton Comes Alive" sitting in a milk crate. This is one of those songs people choose for their wedding because its an amazing love song - uplifting without being TOO uplifting!
