The serial killer of the zodiac

This case is among the great mysteries. Zodiac Killer, or Zodiac, is the nickname given to an American serial killer who operated in Northern California for ten months in the late 1960s. He himself coined this name in a series of challenging letters he sent to the press in 1974. These letters contained four cryptograms, three of which have not yet been resolved.

The serial killer "Zodiac" is guilty of killing five people in San Francisco between December 1968 and October 1969. In total, the victims were four men and three women between the ages of 16 and 29, with only two of the victims surviving the attacks. Many other victims over time have been attributed to Zodiac, but without sufficient evidence to
to be confirmed. The identity of the killer is still unknown today. In 2004, the San Francisco police listed the "Zodiac" case as "inactive", but reopened it in March 2007; even in other jurisdictions the case remains open.
