When used thoughtfully, social media platforms can produce positive outcomes. Because of this, children need to be instructed on how to utilise social media in a positive way so that they can grow their interests, hobbies, and capabilities.

Over the course of the past few pieces, I have discussed the detrimental consequences that frequent use of social media can have on young people. In this piece, I will make an effort to outline the steps that parents should take to shield their children from the potentially damaging impacts of utilising social media.

Above all else, it is important for parents to be aware that the use of social media platforms by their children can have a significant influence that may last a lifetime. In addition, parents should keep a close eye on their children and be aware of the many social media sites on which their children spend time.

When it comes to using social media, parents should supervise their children and limit the amount of time they spend on it. They should also do all in their power to prevent them from accessing particular social media networks.

In real life, relationships and communication take on a more profound meaning. Therefore, actual life is just life itself. Illusions are frequently produced in the virtual world. Therefore, it is the responsibility of parents to create the appropriate atmosphere for their children to interact with the outside world. They should begin by instilling in their offspring an appreciation for the significance of this matter.

Children will eventually construct a barrier around adults who are always offering guidance to them and who communicate with them in a manner that seems they are instructing the child. Because of this, interacting with someone in the form of offering them advice or lecturing them will not yield the desired consequences.

Instead, parents should encourage their children to explore their interests, abilities, and passions while also fostering an environment that is conducive to this type of activity. There are moments when it's just a game, and there are other times when it's a little sports organisation.

When used thoughtfully, social media platforms can produce positive outcomes. Because of this, children need to be instructed on how to utilise social media in a positive way so that they can grow their interests, hobbies, and capabilities. As a result, pupils have the opportunity to not only improve their digital skills but also build talents in other areas.
