Have you ever been stalked and how did you handle it?

We are all being stalked every second of every day and no, I'm not being melodramatic.

Every keystroke I make, even writing this, is logged by some huge tech giant, able to be retrieved by any government agency that wanted to look at it.

When I leave home, my movements are being tracked constantly by gps and triangualtion of mobile signals. My face gets scanned hundreds of times a day in shops and on the streets, by cctv cameras which are everywhere, even ones you cant see.

Every time I make a financial transaction there is a record of it, a ledger, a receipt, someone, somewhere has access to this information should they require it. Electronic transactions recorded permanently on a hard drive somewhere. Even cash has serial numbers that can be traced.

My transport is checked and its use controlled and everywhere I drive it is surveilled bytraffic cameras checking its taxed and insured, ensuring Im not above the speed limit, myface and registration constantly monitored.

CCTV is now using facial recognition software to instantly check you when you pass a camera to see if youre 'wanted' bythe authorities for any reason.

Travelling? CCTV on all forms of public transport see your every move and save it forever, passport? They know where youre going, where youve been and for how long. 

In the UK there are governmemt agencies that have the legal right to enter your home without a warrant or court order. Thats YOUR home.

This is the dystopian future we already live in.

You are being stalked, 24 hours a day, everyday, and there is so very little any of us can do about it.
