Expectations from Life and How to Deal With It

What is Life?
Everyone see life through their own eyes; ask yourself “What is Life?” If you ask me the same question I would say that life is to be happy with whatever you have rather than worrying about what you don’t have, but for sure you have to thrive for what you don’t have, through hard work and patience. Everyone wants to be happy and wealthy, but sadly no one in this world can say that he or she is completely happy.

Happiness has nothing to do with money I believe, because there is a big difference between Needs and Wants, People who want more money often focus on wants because needs are no more a concern for them, But a happy man would always focus on needs rather than wants, because wants are unlimited and every thing you desire cannot be your's. Everyone on this earth is facing some kind of problems. I would categorize problems into four categories, they are

  1. Financial Problems.

  2. Family Problems.

  3. Health Problems and the fourth and the worst problem is

  4. Worrying about other people’s lives and their status.

Life is not easy for anyone, but it depends on you how you take it. For example: if you hold a glass full of water for 1 minute –hey its easy right, But do that same thing for another 5 minutes, it will be a bit harder for you to hold…Alright now, hold the glass of water for 1 hour,,, sounds tough right….for sure it is going to be tough and it will start pain in your hand. I think you got the gist of what I am saying. Problems are just like a glass of water in your hand, so it depends on you how long you want to hold it. I would say just keep the glass down….easy. Even a small problem can become huge if it you hold it for long time.

Few simple things to keep in mind to live a happy life, I call them Seven Golden Rules:

Number 1: Be content with what you have, Rather than worrying about what you don’t have.

Number 2: Make a Goal in your life and put all your effort to achieve it with hard work and dedication and don’t think about the outcome, just focus on the process.

Number 3: Try to find positive things in negative outcomes, don’t even think about negative incident that happened with you, just look at the positive side of it, believe me that relaxes you a lot and gives you enormous strength.

Number 4: Avoid people who discourage you, be around people who encourage you. Golden Statement “ If you can buy a good company (good friends) then buy them as soon as possible, if you want to stay away from bad company(bad friends) then spend more money and make them go away”.

Number 5: Always believe that no one in this world can get everything they want. This world itself is full of flaws, so how can our lives be flawless.

Number 6: Never expect too much from life, because the nature of life is very cunning, it can change anything anytime unexpectedly, so be ready for any kind of situation all the time.

Number 7: Be good with everyone around you, especially family members because they are the people who will be always around you in your good and bad times.
