The scriptures notes the word of Christ that says “what shall it profit a man to gain the world and lose his soul”. How can one gain the world, and how is gaining the world contributes in losing one’s soul?

Many has accepted a false testimony that there is no God, such people believe that they are just products of chance in nature. But these are all lies from the pit of hell, and such lies are being accepted by folks that love lying to themselves, because even common sense should tell us that nothing comes in existence without a creator.

Will you believe me if I tell you that your smart phone that you’ve been using for sometime now, making calls and posting on steemit just exits without a creator and a designer? Will you believe me if I should tell you that Steemit just happened in time and was not made by anyone? If your answer is “no” then why should we believe those that tell us that we just happened by chance?

Purpose of life

Humans are more like machines created by God for his own use, God is a spirit who operates in a spiritual kingdom, he later extended his kingdom to a physical one and also made man as a physical house that he’ll inhabit by his spirit.

Now as living being with choice, we can decide to allow God to use us, using us is simply, God is love, and when we allow God to use us, it can only walkout love for humanity, and anyone who surrender to God will be useful to him now and in eternity. But those that live just for themselves not considering their maker may surely enjoy or gain this world but surely, they’ll lose out in eternity with God.

Now that we know that the age of productivity for everyone is 70, the question remains, how are we positioned to see that we’re not being selfish by living a life without eternity consciousness?

It’s simple, we should allow God in our lives, we should accept Jesus Christ and be filled with his spirit of power, who alone can open us up to the understanding of the righteousness of God.

Everything we do here targets our time

Have you noticed that any reward we receive today is as a result of time that we give to such systems? The world is paying us for the time and attention that we give it, the power that’s ruling our world is mammon, mammon is ready to pay good ransom to anyone that will sacrifice his or herself to vanity, but we should be wise enough to understand the game of life, in as much as we need food on our table, we should also understand that life if more than food and good living.

We should give most of our time to eternal things. How many of us knows about eternity and how it works, it work exactly the way this worldly system do, the difference is that eternity rewards with eternal things kept in heaven for our usage when we shed this mortal body. So when we fail to work in eternity it only mean that we’ve purposely positioned ourselves to have nothing in eternity.

We can work in eternity from here through love, what we do for love are the only things that are being translated into eternity for us, remember, the love that we’re talking about is not the love that the people of the world understands which is limited to giving out stuffs to people. No one can love without the spirit of life in Christ Jesus in him or her.

The Way of Love

If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal. And if I have prophetic powers, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. If I give away all I have, and if I deliver up my body to be burned, but have not love, I gain nothing.
Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
Love never ends. As for prophecies, they will pass away; as for tongues, they will cease; as for knowledge, it will pass away. 1 Corinthians 13:1-8.
