Seeds — an operative system for a globally regenerative civilisation

Seeds is a crypto-currency initiative co-created within the SEEDS-community. In this article, as well as in other articles, you can learn more about the idea behind Seeds as a climate-friendly cryptocurrency that is aiming for enabling co-creative projects and human progress across the world.
For a start, Seeds is an abbreviation of the following words and meanings:
Sowing — facilitating, financing, training, teaching, promoting and supporting
Equitable — repurposing systems, distributing value, social contribution, experimenting.
Ecological — regenerative movements, localisation, healing, commitment to our ecosystem
Decentralised — reversing centralisation and monopolisation of power from nation-states, banks and tech companies
Societies — the unification of bioregions, aiming for a vision of a more beautiful world for all life and creation of healthier communities for our children and us
Vision for a more beautiful world
Besides nature and creatures, much of our world is imagined and socially constructed. The only thing preventing us as humanity from radically changing our world is the stories we have made up as regarding our economic, organisational governmental and food systems.
Human ideas that have resulted in outdated beliefs and systems have caused us incredible suffering, and together they are responsible for the wholesale destruction of our living systems and eroding the pursuit of passion, joy, love and health from our societies. Therefore, any human story that causes this level of destruction, depression and pain to ourselves and our natural world, should not continue its purpose.
SEEDS is a story about a societal model for global cooperation towards restoring our personal and planetary health. A story capable of birthing a new and more beautiful experience for humanity to share.
Aiming for a global conversation for our civilisation
During the last few years, we have learned within the SEEDS project that our societies are modelled after centuries-old thinking. There is absolutely no reason we need to continue with destructive and outdated systems. Let’s come together, as in Imagine song by John Lennon, as a global population- for the first time in the written history of humanity — and consciously create and design a borderless society.
The idea is to co-create a world society governed by the people directly and not through elected leaders, but with our voices. Thanks to modern systems and ideas, as humans, we don’t need politicians to “represent” us anymore — as it has become increasingly obvious that they don’t. Their time was before the internet and instantaneous global communication and value exchange.
Today, we exist in a world more connected than ever before, and we can build systems that represent this world. Let’s co-create the most harmonious and prosperous society our planet has ever known.
Systematic Challenges and Solutions
Our planet today is affected by many challenges relating to climate change and climate-damaging policies. Within SEEDS , we are aiming to co-create solutions and unite humans in solving the following challenges:
- Unemployment, inequality and economic stagnation
- Food-based diseases as obesity
- Centralisation of power as via centra-banking focus on easy credits (quantitative easing)
- Damages made by industrial agriculture
- Waste of resources as for example via waging wars and military conflicts
- Lack of meaningfulness and visions for humanity and the planet
For such and other reasons SEEDS is also focusing on solving problems and challenges to promote human happiness and harmony with other living creatures on our planet in the following ways:
- Training and retraining people to join Peer to Peer (P2P) and local food movements
- Localising our food systems to provide the cheapest healthiest food that’s best for you and the planet too
- Establishing platform-based, community-driven and co-operative projects based on more-equitably distributed voices and resources to the people who bring global networks value as regarding Amazon
- An economy that’s owned and directed by the people for the planet — to direct resources for truly life-improving project
- Creating a vision for the development of equitable societies on a thriving planet
