How To Always Be Happy - Words Of Wisdom SHOW Episode 07

How are you doing?! Happy Friday! Weekend is ahead! Who is excited that Is Friday??? This is your Cypriot guy, Kyriakos Kyriakides, Founder of the Team LEGACY, your mentor and your coach! This is another episode of Words Of Wisdom SHOW! Today we are going to discuss about something, that most of us don’t do! Today we are going to touch a lot of emotion, but positive ones!

Today is Friday, 29 of September 2017! Do you want me, to show you how to always be happy? Do you want me to show you, whatever you lack in your life, still be happy? Today we are going to discuss about “Be Grateful”! Today we are going to discuss why some people are always happy even when a lot of shit happen in their lives and why other people are always depressed and sad. Also we are going to discuss the benefits of always be grateful, and I will also share with you an exercise that I personally do every single morning, that will help you to learn how to be grateful. Gratitude it’s also a habit, so it can be learned!

Most of human beings, every time something happens in their life they will focus on the negative situation, they will focus on the things that they don’t have! Whatever happens in their life always look and find what they don’t have and the negative in that situation! Whatever you search for, you shall find! So, that’s why you see so many people always be stressed, always be depressed, and always be sad, because they focus on the things that they DON’T have, and the NEGATIVE situations that happen in their lives! On the other hand, there are people, that whatever happens in their life, they are always grateful! They are always happy! What is the difference between those 2 people? One of my Field’s Thought Leaders, Nick Vujicic, is a person that was born without legs and arms! And that person is always happy, always grateful! You may think right now: “Yeah, because he is successful!” But that’s not true! Nick, wasn’t always successful! He is coming from a Middle-class Christian Family, and he fought his way to success! So, how can a person without limbs, be so grateful and so happy, and people like us, that we have everything, we still are depressed and sad for what we Don’t have?

The reason is perspective! Everything is a matter of perspective! You see, there are people that focus on things that they need and don’t have, and people that focus on what they DO have, and are grateful for! In every situation, as shit as it can be, there are things that you can be grateful for! Life if full of challenges and difficult situations, BUT, there is always something positive to focus on, and be grateful about! The reason that people that those people are happy in their life, is because they understand and focus on what they have, on what they are able to do, and they are grateful about!

You see, you can be grateful for the simplest things! You can be grateful for waking up today! Do you know how many people worldwide didn’t wake up today…? You can be grateful that you have food to eat every single day! 805 million people worldwide, they don’t have food today to eat! You can be grateful that you are able to drink clean drinking water! More than 750 million people right now, don’t have access to clean drinking water! You can be grateful because you have your own home to stay, and your own bed to sleep! More than 100 Million people right now, are homeless! There are so many reasons to be grateful for, every single day, that most of us, take them for granted! But they are not! Hundreds of millions of people are lacking what you take for granted! If you realize that, you will be able, to wake up every single morning, and be grateful for everything you have!

Now, I would like to share with you a practical, and very simple exercise that I do every single morning when I wake up! I do this exercise before everything! Doing this exercise, make it a habit of yours, you will learn, how to be grateful, you will learn that you have everything you need in life, and you will always start your day with happiness and positive vibes! This exercise will take you only 10 minutes every day in the morning, but if you do it, every single day, your life will never be the same! You will feel less depressed, you will feel less sad, and you will learn how to focus on things that you have, on this that you can do, instead of focusing on what you don’t have, or on what you can’t do!

So the EXERCISE is that. The 10 first minutes, when I wake up, I grab a paper and a pen. I write down all the things that I am grateful for. Write down all that will come first to your mind. Do this for 10 minutes. I Write down that I am grateful because you woke up, I am grateful because I am healthy, I am grateful because I have a bed to sleep, etc, etc.! Whatever comes to your mind, write it down for 10 minutes! After you do that, stick that paper on the wall, and read loudly those things that you are grateful for! Do this every morning, with every morning writing in a different piece of paper! Do this, and I can guarantee you, your life will make a change of 180 degrees! Your life will have more happiness, and more positive vibes, starting from the 10 first minutes of your day, EVERY DAY!

Be grateful, is one of the most important things for every person’s life! Be grateful is also a habit that you need to develop if you want to become successful! But by be grateful, you will see that life isn’t so bad eventually! You will realize that life is amazing, and that you are a very lucky person!
