I am an assistant at a master specialists office and am in charge of checking patients in and gathering installment due "at the season of administration." One day I disclosed our office arrangement to another patient and let her realize that we would gather installment upon look at since charges couldn't be surveyed until she'd seen the specialist.

The patient gestured considerately and proceeded to see the specialist. At look at she sorrowfully clarified she truly did not have the cash to pay but rather extremely required treatment so was reluctant to let us know preceding the arrangement.

I could just ask that she attempt and bring the cash back at her most punctual accommodation, to which she concurred then left. Another patient who had been holding up behind her caught our discussion and thoughtfully disclosed to me she would be glad to pay the past patients bill.

I called the patient, afterward, to let her know her bill had been forked over the required funds. She was extremely shocked and appreciative to her unknown promoter. I've been in the human services field quite a while and this was the first occasion when I experienced anybody so worried about an outsiders needs. Reestablishes your confidence in mankind.
