I'm excited to be heading off to another healing weekend in just a handful of hours. This will be my third Solsara immersion, and will be my first one that is a "residential" retreat, meaning we are all sleeping & eating together on the land where the retreat will be.
We are all conspiracy theorists!
Conspiracy Theory, according to Merriam-Webster:
a theory that explains an event or set of circumstances as the result of a secret plot by usually powerful conspirators
As most of you who are reading this already know, a conspiracy theorist is simply one who follows hypotheses with evidence about secret plots. Since just about everything that governments, corporations, and their crossover groups do is by definition conspiring, and since we don't have the absolute facts & truth about their actions, all we have is theories.
As someone who just recently got introduced to Urban Dictionary (a site I had long heard of, but never visited), I have to say that they have some AMAZING definitions for Conspiracy Theorist:
1: A person who questions known liars
2: A word used by shills when they are losing an argument. The shill calls their opponent a "conspiracy theorist" in an attempt to discredit them by implying that they are paranoid and delusional. In point of fact, it is the shill using the term "conspiracy theorist that is engaging in an ad hominem attack that can be considered delusional, brainwashed and willfully ignorant of the FACTS.
3: A contemptuous term used primarily by the main stream media to slander anyone who questions their monopoly on truth.
Best case scenario, sustainibility means acting in a way that we don't have a negative effect on the world around us, that we can basically be neutral. That, to me, isn't good enough! Personally, my goal in life is to always have a positive effect on those around me, to be making the world BETTER, not to be without effect. To strive for sustainability would require believing that the current systems/structures are good enough to want to continue them forward...
Sustainability, via Oxford:
The ability to be maintained at a certain rate or level.
Sustainable, via Merriam-Webster:
1: capable of being sustained
2a: of, relating to, or being a method of harvesting or using a resource so that the resource is not depleted or permanently damaged
2b: of or relating to a lifestyle involving the use of sustainable methods
On the other side of things, the current use of the term sustainable / sustainability, is a code-word for centralized world government and population control. I've written quite a bit about this in my recent 2-part article on "Climate Change" (1 & 2).
This video by @corbettreport does a great job covering the idea of "sustainable development":
See you soon beloveds!
It's feeling a little wild to step away for three days after making a variety of tweaks to the way that @TribeSteemUp votes... We'll see how it goes :-) As always, I trust the Universe to take care of the details while I hold my intentions & personal vibration steady!
I am SO, SO grateful to be able to explore myself in these ways, to be able to share my journey with you, to be able to support so many amazing creators, and to be alive in this, the greatest time to ever have been alive as a human on Planet Earth!
