The old, the new -> Moving again
After some time of thinking and making new plans again, again it is time for change. I'm moving back to my home country Holland in the new year!
After being on the road for nearly five years it is time to get back to a bit more of a simple life. No more bullcrap on residency permits, no more being the foreigner. It is time to head back towards the loved ones. At least for now, you never know what happens ;)
Living in other countries has tons of charms. You really have the chance to get into the culture of a country, and see so much more other things versus just passing by being on vacation. I really think the life of being on the road makes you a richer person in heart. You open up more to others because you have to, you have to start over and not rely on who you always were and what you have achieved. It is starting fresh. And is cool but also fresh is sometimes really annoying.
The idea of moving back popped into my mind in the Spring for the first time for real. But after concluding in your brain that you have to make some change, it doesn't mean that all of a sudden everything is organized in a matter of minutes. So it took some time making this happen, but now most of it is all said and done and I can look forward to a next phase again.
Until then....exploiting and enjoying the joys that Switzerland has. That is what I will do in the next upcoming months before I head back to the flat!

heheh thanks! Will take until the next year but at least the decesions have been made and actions have started ..Will enjoy the mountains here as long as I am here!
I kept coming back home to switzerland because i was born here. No better place than home? Im a foreigner in the county i was born in and that never seems to change. What makes switzerland special is all the diverse people from all over and some adventurous joys in the alps and in nature. I felt very human in Holland. Traveling and living in other countries really enriches, you are so right!
Switzerland is really a more diverse country in nationalities than I had expected before I came here honestly. But yeah...home is something that always draws you back in some kind of way indeed, foreigner or not! (your not a foreigner man)
