Protesting real issues, that are quantifiable and are currently happening are understandable.

Protesting potential issues, that haven't happened, and may never happen, seems like a waste of time.

Personally, don't want to see Ford, or GMC start painting 100% of their cars green. They never said they're going to do that... and they probably won't do that... but just "incase" they do that, should we protest against it? See how idiotic that can be...

pre-protesting is stupid. You're protesting something that hasn't occurred and may never occur.
