Other than just when you’ve seen the ingenious reply from the automotive industry to the accusation of being the bad boy of global warming with its polluting exhaust fumes, it comes up with a solution, not only cancelling the Co2 it blows out by using carbon neutral free gasoline, petrol or diesel, but at the same time being aware that back at the processing plant the DAC (Direct Air Capture) technology is vacuuming carbon out of the atmosphere to store underground.
My mind then started carrying this a stage further and shock horror I still see transport causing a new ice age!
If you look at the Carbon Engineering drawing of the DAC fuel converter it doesn’t take much imagination to see smaller versions being fitted to every vehicle to remove carbon from the atmosphere and produce fuel as the vehicle travels.
Vehicles, aircraft all means of transportation will become fuel self-sufficient. What a transformation of society that will bring. The mind boggles.
But in reversing the output of Co2 would the new ice age the invention is meant to prevent still come about because of so many vehicles vacuuming too much carbon from the skies.
But ignore these ramblings of a wrinkly. Watch the video. Look out for the answer to the interviewers question – “Why aren’t the governments of the world beating a path to your door”?
It seems there's two sides to every form of technology. Fire can keep you warm or burn your house down. A knife can help you cut your food or kill your neighbor. So far I think the good sides of these things are coming out ahead of the bad consequences. I'm hopeful for the future!

Thank you Kenny. Yes, I once thought there must be something that doesn't have a downside, I considered things like rats,no one likes them,what purpose do they have? and so on. I never found anything.Rats for example are part of a food chain for another species.
Regarding vehicles sucking carbon out of the air for fuel. As I understand ,Carbon emissions at present form a ceiling of greenhouse gases trapping heat and causing climate warming. Millions of all forms of transport going around sucking carbon and eventually removing the ceiling would let all the warmth out?
But that of course is me fantasising about the possibility of smaller versions of Carbon Engineering's DAC technology being fitted to every mode of transportation.
