Yeah, I've encountered people who call themselves skeptics, who display nothing but lazy reactionary pessimism. Pseudo-skepticism, essentially, as a defense mechanism. Some people are so afraid of rejection and failure, that they will convince themselves nothing it worth giving a shot. Fuck those people. You just offered this person a huge opportunity, and they turned their nose up. Don't even give them a lift to Mc Donalds in your 2019 lambo mate.
