Why children have fear while giving exam?

Smiles... Mostly everyone experience fear before writing exam most especially when it is your first time of writing such exam. This fear is known as "exam tension". It sometimes comes naturally depending on your experience and your level of preparation for such exam.

As a University undergraduate, I sometimes develop this fear depending on the type of course I sit for.

Children often develop fear before writing exam due to the kind of statements they've heard from some of their colleagues like "Mr musing exam is always difficult","A lot of people failed Mr steem exam last year". This sometimes develops the fear in the child before taking such exams.

Also, children do get scared while giving exam due to their low level of preparation. A student who isn't prepared for exam can never have self confidence to tackle such exam and this creates fear in the student's mind. Good preparation improves student confidence when tackling Examination questions.

Lastly, they sometimes develop fear because they are scared of failing. Everyone is scared of failing but in the case of Examination, the fear increases because you don't just want to fail. Negative thoughts may develop in their mind before writing the exam such as "what if I can't answer any question", "what if I fail" , "what if I don't know question one", "This exam isn't gonna be easy", etc.
