RE: Character is Crucial

in #life6 years ago

This topic is very subjective one. I've seen guys with zero good character amount to much due to what they have a talent of. You must have heard of most stars stories on how they got to the celebrity level. Most of them got zero good characters. But they just got there through the strength of their talents.

You can't say only the housemates with good character remained on the show. The people voting vote for varied reasons and I doubt character is their first choice when voting. You can be a typical douchebag but if you are entertaining people will still vote for you in this type of show. I guess the only place good character, which, of course, is a subjective thing in most of the world, comes to real test is in religious competitions where votes come from religious voters :)

Thank you for your view on this topic. I really appreciate the points. Character is a subjective word, but good character toward friends and strangers is something that is more clear. We know that talent can make one excel and get to celebrity level, but without having a good character it might not be sustainable. This is because at the level of celebrity you automatically have a lot of enemies, and if such fellow is not in good books (without prejudice) with people surrounding or far from him/her, then someday, it might be a set back.

As regards the big brother show, entertainment will always give us things to marvel at. Character might not come to play here. I wouldn't mind knowing about a religious competition, is there one? Do you know of any, please?

Some celebrities are hated so much that they can't afford to go out anywhere without tight security. But they do excel in their dealings :)

I really do not know of any religious competitions.
