in #life4 years ago

From true soulmates to the Greatest division of labor,
down to our samurai and Super ninja and Top of the list is immortality. I bring you 5 amazing animals with incredible super powers.

  1. Gyrodactylus elegans gyrodactylus-aquatic-parasite-f3n542.jpg
This 1mm long animal lives in the gills of European Carp. It is an interesting animal and I'm pretty sure ladies will be jealous of this marvel because four succeeding generations of the animal appears to be born out of one ova(egg). how cool is that? How is this possible? Each adult gives birth to a single live young. this young animal contains within it, an embryonic form, another young animal, which in turns contains anothers even smaller embryo which in turn contains yet another embryo. As they grow each one of these animals gives birth to the embryo within it. However they are not in fact four generations, but sisters who develop from a single egg. Original mother produce for young for the cost of only one as each sister down the line takes responsibility for nurturing the next round to be born. 310px-Gyrodactylus_elegans.jpg

  2. Diplozoon paradoxumtumblr_mydf456Kis1ru2ff9o1_500.png
This are the best lovers in the animal kingdom. They are romantic and the only stick to a single partner. I wish guys can learn from them. This 1cm smallish romantic animal are a parasite of fish, young members of this species do not become sexually mature into they meet another member of their species. (meet their soulmate and plan their wedding) They then achieve sexual maturity and mate (sex). The two animals form a permanent union(wed) , joined near their midsections(ring), they form a most unusual animal that looks like cross with moveable arms. Don't you wish our love is as true as theirs? monogenean-149073A68B071F13748-thumb400.png

3.The Otton frog ( Babina subaspera)
dn13991-1_800.jpgAlso called horror frog, hairy frog, spiked frog and Wolverine frog. from the family "Ranidae". Commonly found in Central African. A species of frog in the Arthroleptidae family . But I just call them " African Samurais" Why?
Because they make their retractable claws by breaking it's toe bone and jabbing them into the skin of their feet. (Hardcore right? 😊).
Research has shown that while both males and females possess the false spike thumbs, only the males appear to use them — mostly for fighting, but also mating (holding onto the females)
Like with many species of frog, it’s the male hairy frogs that “guard/raise” the young/eggs.
So, in other words, the horror frog is apparently more a protective father, rather than a creature out of a horror movie. (and they are as loyal as a samurai too) dn13991-3_670.jpgdn13991-2_800.jpg

  1. Mantis shrimp (Ninja Supermen) my favourites 😍. science-060812-007.jpg
Mantis shrimp are only about four inches long but pound for pound are one of the strongest animals in the world. They possess Super strong, super fast punches. They use clubs that are more like elbows than fists to punch their prey -- with the force of a bullet shot from a 22 caliber gun. This incredible force is important for hunting food -- easily breaking the shells of prey like crabs and clams. Mantis shrimp are kept in strong plastic tanks because their punch could break a glass tank. But they aren't just strong, they're fast too! They have the fastest predatory strike in the ocean -- swinging in less than 800 microseconds. In the time it takes you to blink an eye, the mantis shrimp could theoretically punch 500 times. (faster then superman and flash). Because the mantis shrimp is so fast, its punch results in something scientists call cavitation -- a super heated bubble that results in a small flash of light. Between the punch and the heat, the mantis shrimp's prey doesn't stand a chance!
they have the broadest visual spectrum of any animal we know of.(supereyes just like superman) Scientists are studying the mantis shrimp eyes in an attempt to build small cameras that can see cancer cells at very early stages. They possess not 5 or 10 but 16 colour receptive cone. They also serve as nature for inspiration in creating stronger vehicle frames and body armor due to their body structure.(bouligand structure)(Ninja chakra)
Now every Every superman must have his Lois Lane. Some mantis shrimp species mate for life -- they meet the shrimp of their dreams and they share the same burrow, protect their eggs and help each other with hunting for their entire lives -- up to 20 years.
    Damn they are so coollll😎.mantis-shrimp-eyes.jpg

1.Turritopsis nutricula (the immortal jellyfish)Turritopsis-nutricula-in-water.jpg.653x0_q80_crop-smart.jpg
This ocean beauty was Frist discovered in the Mediterranean Sea in 1883. If a mature Turritopsis is threatened — injured or starving, it attaches itself to a surface in warm ocean waters and converts into a blob. From that state, its cells undergo transdifferentiation in which the cells essentially transform into different types of cells. Muscle cells can become sperm or eggs, or nerve cells can change into muscle cells, "revealing a transformation potential unparalleled in the animal kingdom."
But their regeneration only occurs after sexual maturation, therefore they can succumb to predators or disease in the polyp stage. (All they need to do. is to go hide under a rock in the polyp stage 😂😂)
scientists are studying them closely, with the hopes of applying what they learn to issues such as human aging and illness.
Personally, I love mantis shrimp's best but immortality trumps all. that's why jellyfish was in the first position.
Tell me which animal do you find more fascinating
in the comment section, and other animals with super cool abilities.
