Video Poker Addict
This is the one I need.
So how is everyone? I'm still hooked with that video poker, I lost today not much, but I just can't seem to win. Doesn't anyone here know how to beat a computer? I just can't and I am as stubborn as the last one of you, but I just can't get it.
Sometimes I think these casinos, at least here in Honduras sell the big prizes, where I go only old ladies win big, I happen to be a loser nearly every day and these ladies win every day. Can it be possible, can it just be down to luck? I personally don't believe in luck, but sometimes it just seems to be the only explanation.
The other explanation is the conspiracy one I said first, prizes being sold, but as I can't prove this there is no way I can be sure. I have read up and apparently all the machines are connected to a central command center, but how can you sell a prize and nobody know about it? Humans can't keep these kind of things quiet. So I just really don't know, in the mean time I just keep losing.
And I am good at quitting addictions, I stopped smoking, I stopped drinking which are damned hard things to do, but I just can't get rid of this gambling addiction, and I don't believe there is a chapter of gamblers anonymous in Honduras or anywhere for that matter I don't know if an association like this exists.
But I can tell you it is very frustrating to be sitting down at these machines, being extremely good at poker and watching people who just hold a 10 and get a royal flush, I mean how can that be possible? It's good that I have very hard hands because I've close to broken a few machines with a few good licks, somehow I haven't been kicked out, I guess I lose enough to be considered an asset to the casino, maybe that's why I haven't been banned.
So if anyone knows how to screw one of these machines just let me know, I really want to get even, but really the only thing I think I will get is even more beaten up.

No, I don't have to learn anything, I know gambling is a fool's addiction, it's just that it is hard to get rid of, and you want to beat the damned machine. I once read about a famous card sharp in the west who was cleaned out at a game of dice, somebody told him how could you do that, didn't you know the dice were loaded? And he told him, I know they were, but what could I do, it was the only game in town.

You could probably write a story, fiction of course, about someone getting rich off of these machines.
wouldn't have to be a story.
