I've been doing this little series on the stretches that I continue to add to my daily yoga routines.
Yoga has become an essential part of my lifestyle.
A cornerstone to being healthy, flexible and increasing my performance in the gym and in my work life as well.
A lot of people think that it is impossible for them to do yoga.
They have all sorts of excuses why they can't do yoga.
A big one that I hear all the time is:
"I don't have enough money to attend yoga classes"
This one is preposterous! I've never been to a yoga class, yet I continue to do these poses at home and build my yoga routines.
Yoga doesn't have to be a 90 minute intense session of stretching.. It just has to be a few poses done on a regular basis. Work your way up from there.
If you can get over this misconception, then you can add yoga to your daily routine easily.
Here is another stretch that I found that is a great one. We've all seen it before, but many may not understand which muscles and joints we are targeting here.
This is a great image to show exactly that!
I do this about 20 times in my regular yoga routine before bed and it's been helping my lower back and hip pain tremendously! Try it out!
