Recently have being making findings on how magicians do their magic and discovered most of them are tricks and can be done by anyone. In my last post I made a post on 3 magic tricks and how they are done, have made more findings and got the trick of few magics also

Can on a card

To make a can stand on a card is an incredible magic but not when you know the secret behind this magic. Almost all of us would have seen the balancing truck of many magicians but a can on a card is something spectacular.
This is the secret behind it. The magician picks a random can and places it on the top of a random card and makes it look like some magical act. The can will appear to stand on top of the card but when you have a close look at the card. If you look properly, you will see that there are two cards glued together which is folded from the center that forms a T- shape which makes it possible for a can to stand on it easily. Simple enough for anyone to do.

Harry Houdini is a popular magician which a lot of us should know and he is making it big with his magics. I recently watched one of his magics and found out the trick behind it.
In this magic, he had to escape an implement which has a form of a fish tank. The tank is filled with water and he put his head down in front of the audience. The secret revealed behind his escape is that the handcuffs which he used belonged to him and were placed in a way which will allow him to easily unlock them.

Twisting An iPhone

Dynamo, another well known and big magician does a lot of tricks with the iPhone and the most common of them all is the one in which he twists the iPhone in half. It took me a while to actually understand how he does it.
He picks a regular iPhone, puts it in his hands, and then twists the bottom part of the phone right in front of the audience. You must be wondering how does this. The trick is very simple and can be performed by anyone, you just have to be smart and sharp.
He does not actually flip the phone, of course if he does, the screen will break and the phone would be useless. What he does is, he cuts off the top half of an identical iPhone and secretly holds it in his left hand. He then takes the audience phone and adjusts it in the place and sticks a small strip of a double-sided tape on the front of any audience phone. Audience are not able to see him since they stand in front of him. He then flip the phone. The top half now gets covered with his own prepared half that he taped on, and the bottom half shows the viewers screen. Simple trick I guess.
