How to juggle work and family life
Here are a few tips that I swear by to get me through each week...
Everything seems more manageable if you've had a good night's sleep 😴. If your children wake early then you might have already clocked up 8 hours of rejuvenating sleep.
Hire a cleaner for a couple of hours each week to lighten the chores that need tackling and for at least that day, your home will feel clean and tidy.
Keep a family planner hanging up in the kitchen with one column for each family member and ideally a pocket attached so you can file all those appointment cards and reminder letters.
Declutter your home 🏡 every month of unloved toys, stray papers and unworn clothes by donating to a local charity shop, passing on to family and friends, discarding waste and selling valuable items. This will free up space and make your home easier to clean and tidy.
If you can work from home regularly then you will save time on the commute and you can put the washing on and be in while parcels are delivered etc while you work 👩🏻💻.
