Unacknowledged: An Expose of the World's Greatest Secret
We grow up with parents that expect us to tell the truth. Then as parents ourselves we expect our children to tell us the truth as well. Our lives are full of interactions with other people, and we assume they are all telling the truth.
The truth is dangerous however. Speaking it has consequences. Sometimes the consequences are severe. I'm reminded of my father's stern warning to be careful once he realized I had become a private investigator.
Speaking the truth is dangerous because often times the people concealing it have a lot of power. As I've said before though, the person that wants to hide the truth usually wants to protect a lie instead.
Watch the movie on Netflix called Unacknowledged as a good example. It will explain how disinformation is used to discredit those who attempt to share the truth. Let's say, hypothetically, that aliens did exist and were already here interacting with humans.
What would the existing powers have to gain from disclosure? They'd have absolutely nothing to gain. Instead, they would have an awful lot to lose. The current systems of control would be destroyed. Therefore, they discredit anyone who attempts to reveal the truth.
The narrative given is that the governments cannot disclose anything because the public would panic. The opposite is true though. Disclosure makes the existing powers fearful, and they have good reason to be afraid. Disclosure would put an end to their control.
- What if we no longer needed utility companies for our homes?
- What if we didn't need to buy anything to power our vehicles?
- What if we didn't need nuclear, coal, or hydroelectric powered plants?
Imagine a world where the resources needed to make those things possible no longer mattered. No oil would need to be pumped, no coal would need to be mined, and no forest would need to be clear cut.
War would end. Scarcity would end. The implications are astounding.
Are we alone in the universe? I am not sure. However, I highly doubt it. Some say it is mathematically impossible in fact. As the script of the movie Contact declared:
The universe is a pretty big place. It's bigger than anything anyone has ever dreamed of before. So if it's just us... seems like an awful waste of space. Right?
It is pretty mind blowing how we managed so many advancements in such a short span of time. Makes you wonder what mankind was doing for a few thousand year, doesn't it? if each generation learns from the previous - think about what happened over the span of thousands of years. Then consider what has been done in the past 50 years.. If only the truth could be told, we all would be better off. Who's to decide how much truth one can handle?
The truth can be a tough weight to carry, especially when there is life at stake. And even more so for those that choose to be outspoken. It can be hard to accept truth, but disclosure is something to be appreciated regardless of its impact.
Capitalism and voluntary exchange would still exist too. Things would just be far more decentralized and locally controlled. That's the main reason, if alternatives existed, they would be hidden from the masses.
Yes, the movie goes into that specifically, and the technology is being used to maintain an empire. Certain people profit greatly from not revealing it, and it keeps their system of power in place.
There's other weird stuff too like how people at NASA say "we lost the technology" to go to the moon. Lost it? What the hell does that mean?! Why hasn't anyone been back? I have heard the Chinese plan a trip though...
I'll see if I can check that movie out this weekend. It sounds like it's going to be an interesting one!

The liars, the manipulators of this world hold the reigns- precisely because of those traits (the 3 or 4% of the population of psychopaths and sociopaths).
It has always been so. But historically, smaller social groups, through ostracism, maintained a (relatively) control on society.
The rise of these 4%, and their power, because of larger social groups, has been to the massive detriment of us all.
So hidden technologies, Ufo's, and the hidden knowledge that goes with it, is just seen as a tool of control (by the 4%).
Their concept of 'greater good', or 'doing the right thing', is not even a concept to these people.
It's not even present in their universe.
Until this problem is addressed, and remedied, everyone can kiss any progress for all, goodbye.

There is an old joke somewhere where an interviewer asks UFO guy why it was that the only people who ever see UFOs appear to be nuts. Why are there no doctors or lawyers who see UFOs. The answer was "If you were a doctor or a lawyer and you saw UFO, would you tell anyone?"
That's part of the effort to discredit people though. The objective is to make people with decent credentials fearful of sharing their experiences. It doesn't work anymore though.
"Agriculture will be local" ... "The world will be increasingly interconnected, yet completely independent at the local level." That sounds like nirvana to me. It certainly makes me want to believe. ;-)

Maybe STEEMIT will be the place for disclosure... ;) I personally have never seen anything "out of the ordinary", but I also think it's highly unlikely we are alone. Great post!
Thank you and I followed you. Seeing something is a difficult issue. Even what I saw could have been a human craft. It's highly unlikely that it was, but it could have been. The movie gets into that topic too (governments are cloning the craft supposedly, so seeing one doesn't necessarily mean it is aliens).
I think it depends on the overall consciousness of the species... once enough humans 'wake up' to the possibilities...for example, just opening the CHANCE of mainstream physics being incomplete i.e. 'free'/exotic/0-point energy devices... once that sweet critical mass hits on a planet, the chain reaction that occurs across politics/economics/all areas of the species' existence is a sight to behold indeed... uhhh... at least... so I'm 'told' anyways... :)
Yeah, I just want to be comfortable and energy independent. Sure, it can be done now, but it is very costly and inconvenient.
Like the movie went into though, I wouldn't put it past the world's governments to stage some nonsense "to unite" and create a more centralized power.
With all the fake human attacks... wouldn't be surprised of a staged alien attack... they would all bow to the one-world government to save them...
Truth is an interesting topic and as you speaking it can be dangerous for many. The efforts put into discredit and silence those speaking the Truth is huge, look how many holistic practitioners have died in mysterious circumstances recently, I think it's over 50 now.
I believe if everyone could feel, know and discern the truth then we would be well on the way to a better humanity. It is how well the evil is hidden through lies and corruption that we are all spoon fed from birth onwards, from our parents and teachers, who were spoon fed the same lies and still believe in them.
It's a big step for many to see how lied to we have been by those we trusted in the most, not just parents, teachers, but governments, banks and the whole system. It is actually beyond belief for some to take this in and see it as actual truth.
