Thus, there is the term "hijabers" for the "hijab" user community, because the modalities and forms vary. Then there is another term "hijab syar'i". with the connotation of Muslim clothing that meets syara 'criteria.
For women, the whole body of a woman is aurat. Even Prophet Muhammad SAW. Declare:
"The woman is aurat, when he comes out (from his house), then the devil glorifies him" (Hr At-Tirmidhi).
The Prophet called it "aurat", because woman is the honor (glory) that must be maintained. If he comes out, he will be used by Satan as his trap to trap the opposite sex. The sight of the eyes and lust is fixed upon him.
It is so great that Islam places women. He is placed in a position of honor, and truly honored. To the extent that a person is killed (a woman), for defending her honor was declared shaheed.
