Postcard from Burkina Faso - 🎼Tap Dancing in Africa🇧🇫
Here you can watch another short video we have been working on in the last weeks, after our visit in Burkina Faso. Candice is an expert tap dancer from Paris, and she is working on a project that combines traditional African dancing with Tap dancing, as they share a very similar technique.
Candice and I are currently preparing a theatre piece which is called "Being Born a Girl". The Video is in French but I hope you can enjoy the images anyways. We brought a whole suitcase filled with Tap Shoes to Ouagadougou and practiced with the kids for 2 weeks. Please enjoy the little insight into these very special days and ask me anything that you would like to know.
