It definitely is intriguing! I would say maybe it’s not Egyptian but a culture who was perhaps in contact with Egyptians or its because of the civilization that was here a long long time ago that was wiped out during the great mass extinction event that took place 12000 years ago. And all the ancient civilizations knew about this civilization and was inspired to build the way they did.

That theory is definitely possible, but I think unlikely. I say this because of the golden tablet that was found here. It has accounts written in super-ancient characters, of real historical figures from ancient Egypt traveling to the Grand Canyon.
I will have to check out this podcast later on when I am not so busy. I hear Joe Rogan's name thrown around all the time in my circles.

Man i forgot to mention about them finding cocaine in a mummy found in Egypt. That shit don’t fit the narrative of history either. There definitely is something that either we don’t know or there’s something there hiding. One day we will get to the bottom of this .

I am sure the Mississippi River and the Nile River are on different continents. I haven't personally been to either of them, but I am confident. I will check out Lex when I get some free time though.
It falls in line with manipulated histories and towns right out of the bible bordering the Mississippi River and delta with exact names from it still...
Still, until I see it for myself I have a hard time believing it...

What's your theory of why this civilization disappeared?
I'm still shocked that I never even knew about the Grand Canyon.
I have not heard of Mr. West, and I have no idea why that civilization disappeared other than depleted resources, the river's water level dropping (which was actually mostly due to the construction of the hoover dam much later), or just a decided migration. It is also possible that this area was more of a sacred site that was constructed and not lived in for that long. It seems to be almost a museum of ancient history in itself, maybe that is what it was to them. The ancient Egyptians were very adamant about preserving their history in general.
