Mosquitoes are Vampires and they operate in the dark and leave you to die of malaria! Have you ever really stopped to think about it?

Mosquitoes are indeed the vampire of our time and I must be very frank with you o! Can you imagine they fly in the night and have fangs and suck your blood until they are filled and then leave you to die of malaria? I am writing this article now and battling serious mosquito infestation while treating myself and my family against Malaria infection.

Many of you may not be familiar with this infestation and for those of you who are familiar, you know what I am talking about and how I am feeling right now.

Mosquitoes are small, midge-like flies that constitute the family Culicidae. Females of most species are ectoparasites, whose tube-like mouthparts pierce the hosts' skin to consume blood. The word "mosquito" is Spanish for "little fly" and there are about 3,450 different kinds (species) of mosquitoes.

In Africa, one of the major cause of death is Malaria and this is caused by the hazard the vampire-like sucking insects wrecks on its victims. Many people die daily without knowing what their ailment is, sometimes they just complain of headache or cold and the next minute, they are dead. A man is well today and by the evening he is seriously ill and before the end of the hour, he is dead.

Many humanitarian organization especially the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation have and are still investing Millions of Dollars to fight this dreaded humming sneaking insect that has the capacity to render a man dead within minutes, and like they Vampire movies we watch, they suck you and suck you until they cannot fly.

Ok, now I have to go apply insecticide in my children's room and make sure the sleeping net is well made so they are protected against the vampire insects.
