ENDING VIOLENCE AGAINST WOMEN + MY FIRST TIME SEEING THE LOVELY BOOKOONS

Greetings to my fellow steemians and compliment of the season to you all. It's with great joy and enthusiasm that I write this post because it's aim is directed to humanity and impact. The brain behind this is the one and only Blockchain entertainer @michaelcj. Ever since, he has always been known for using his influence and opportunities on the Blockchain to influence and affect lives positively and this time, he did yet another great job.

The program was a three days event which started from the 23rd -25th of November, and it was something else. Though I was not there on the first day because it happened to be my birthday so I decided to spend time with my family at home. But by on the second day, I journeyed down Awka, (a city in Nigeria where the event held) and it was about a 2 hours journey from my location.

Before I go further, let me show you some things that was done prior to my arrival!

Apart from sharing the books to the students, lectures and speeches were also given to enlighten the students and all who were present.

I Finally met @bookoons for the First Time.

It was this same platform that made me know @bookoons for the first time. She's an amazing person, partner, team leader and member, and also fun to be with. I met her on a whatsapp group called Irise and from then till now, we have built a healthy relationship for ourselves. She also used to be my co-host on a show I do host on @flaminghelpers on Sundays called Sing It Loud.

So it was in the course of this event that I finally saw her for the first time. She's beautiful as well.. Yea! We spoke for a short while because she was traveling back that same day.

I really enjoyed my time spent there. Thank God for the Blockchain platform, it has strengthened my relationship with people outside my spare of contact such as @michaelcj and @bookoons.
