Not only is it a good piece of music, it raises the question of attraction. "Karen" is more attractive than Jewel. I actually find the original Jewel more attractive than the new cosmetic version. It isn't just physical appearance which makes a person attractive. When Jewel was play acting as "Karen" she had to portray a reluctant person who had a true talent. Having the big nose and glasses didn't even play into it. Beauty is not just an issue of appearance ... it lies much deeper.
