Never Criticize in Public

Do you remember the last time anyone criticized you? How did you feel? Were you hurt? Now, imagine same person criticizing you in the public where people are. I believe you will be more hurt.
Same applies to anyone we'll be criticizing. Be it our siblings, kids, employees etc it is not advisable to criticize them in the public. Rather, we should call them in private.
While in private, we should try as much as we can to criticize them in a low tone, rather than shouting at them. Constructive criticism should be our main priority when handling sensitive matters.
As we tend to criticize people in private, reverse is the case when we want to praise them. We should praise them in public so as to boost their self esteem.
