Hehe I like that society where we are being rewarded to open our mouths.
It is true that most if not all, especially the popular ones and whales here are based on useful friendships... Too bad.
But like me, I've come here to enjoy true friendships in the community too. Few Steemit friends... but true. it's not all about the money but hey, I can live with that.
It is kind of a weird thought. Everyone opening their mouths and getting paid to do it. I think that there is still room for friendship in that too... but it is kind of a hard thing to wrap my head around.
And yes! Totally - useful friendships all up the trending page... and people upvoting to and commenting to try and get in on the payday.

I agree it's a weird thought. And what happens when we don't get paid anymore? Then we stop the whole interaction...
It's hard to be a whale hey...it might become hard to know who is for useful friendship or not...I would rather have few followers for true friendships...
