Kasisto: Point of sale of Monero

Timo Uhlmann, created a point of sale (PoS) that accepts XMR as a payment method, without intermediaries. It is called Kasisto and is an application that works with the Internet which processes payments with Monero (XMR), this application makes use of a server that registers all transactions processed in the block of Monero.
This application was tested for the first time in a restaurant in Germany, the transaction was successful and process the payment in 22 seconds. The speed of Kasisto is due to the fact that the point of sale accepts transactions that have not yet been confirmed.
It is emphasized that this mechanism represents a risk for the recipient of the transaction (the seller); since, an unconfirmed transaction could be lost in a reorganization of the blocks in the chain. Hence the importance of confirmations in transactions with any cryptocurrency.
