Staying Positive Through Obstacles (Tips)

BROKE MY WRIST, STILL SMILING! 😁🙆🏼‍♂️ Nothing else to do when you can’t change anything (no need to stress!)

A lot of you have sent me messages telling me how much of an effect my positivity has had on you from watching my story or posts! 🙏🏼 That makes me so stoked, I always try to remind that you can change the way you look at world to be more positive and less cynical every day with each choice 🙌🏼🤔

Life is what it is at the moment and if you find it to be terrible and you’re not happy, consider this to be your bottom...because if things are worse than ever, you already have proof that things can be better 🙏🏼 You need to break the habits that are chaining your mind, body, perspective and situation down. Start small and eliminate things that give you temporary relief from your negative mindset (TV, alcohol/substances, junk food, etc) - it feels impossible but you will never change if you don’t make small sacrifice. For example eat your dinner outside tonight, then go to bed 🛏 Repeat that action and see how you wake up earlier and more rested which leads to other changes like food or hydration choices, and so on.

My point is not to give you a checklist of things to do but instead to remind you that there is always✌🏼 paths to situations in life. We can be negative, shut down and accept “how it is” or we can do our best in the face of any new situation, obstacle or habit that comes our way in order to adapt, which quickly allows us to prevail over it with energy, good mood and ease. And it gets easier and easier as you go along! 😁 I’ll keep dancing and making you laugh and I hope it inspires you to choose to dance and enjoy yourself a bit more each day as you build your own positive mindset! Ouch! I know the pain but you have the right attitude to bounce back no problem!

I broke my wrist too, I was 14 and training for the world kickboxing championships. I had already qualified fighting at the British nationals, then training outdoors one day I fell and BAM! Snapped it real bad. My cast went from my hand right up to my shoulder!

Damn thats super rough!!! I appreciate you sharing your story, I'll be back ASAP!

Right on! You will smash it mate, no problem! I just wish I was vegan back then, recovery would have been even better I'm sure!
