THE UNCHANGEABLE

Things we cannot change confront us daily,
But we feel the need for them to be changed early,
And while we pursue with zeal the need to change,
We find that nothing in it is about to change;

So then we feel the need to fight and seek,
And try and try even to change them a bit,
But fate stays on and on like before,
And what we see is still the same like before;

Shall we then in our rational state of heart,
Let what we know we cannot ever have,
Our joy of mind now and forever destroy?
Let's have what we can and the rest we ploy

THE VALUE OF MAN

The value of man does not lie on the size of his pockets,
Nor does it lie on his designer clothes and haircuts,
Nor perhaps on his imposing frame and height,
Or probably on his physical built and strength;

The value of man lies simply in his towering Ego,
It lies in the love he radiates with captivating motto,
It lies in the aggregate of his conscience and dignity,
It lies in the totality of his charm, wisdom and Humanity.
