I also find that the people who are listed on the "highest IQ" lists are mostly people from places where they do a lot of IQ testing. Statistically, there should be some geographic diversity, and some gender balance.

Also, IQ tests are not so specific. I think there is something useful that an IQ test measures, but no serious tester will think that they can tell the difference between a 180 and 182 IQ person.
