When it comes to privacy how much can you "trust your smartphone" for that? What are the ways you think of our smartphones can invade our privacy?

if our smartphone is handled well, it can be reasonably trusted. The problems we are having with phone privacy being leaked is as a result of criminal activities but who is to blame? is it our phone, the third party app or us?
Talking about how our phones can invade our privacy, This can be done through some apps we install. Malicious apps with the intention of causing harms to our devices, poorly implemented apps which by default enable dangerous permission when not required. Apps downloaded from unknown sources which can be potentially riddled to malware and leads to a compromised system and so on.
Most times we don't read the apps privacy to know which information they are requesting before downloading them. Each time any app is downloaded, we have agreed to their policies and every information they requested will be supplied by our device.
most anti malware apps takes our data privacy. Every bit of our information is released to them. That is why in most cases it lies on us to know the types of apps and what info they are requesting for before downloading them. Conversely, apps that are not in use on our device can be uninstalled or get the permission disabled. only trusted apps should be granted permission. This is the only way our smartphones can protect our privacy, else all Info's will be invaded .
Thanks.
