Must success always be preceded by failure ?

I don't really think that success should always be preceded by a failure. There are people who just see success alone in their life. If their planning and execution are good, there is always room for success. There will also be clever people who bypass failure and reach success directly and sustain there without any problem. They usually see people who undergo failure and learn from them. These clever people are only a few. All other people they either fall down if they reach success directly or they would have reached there only by hitting the failure stone first.

Will prediction help?

In India, people predict success and failures with the help of horoscopes. They have a great interest in horoscopes and people even completely believe what they hear from horoscope practitioners. I'm sure this will be the case in other countries as well. In my opinion, the prediction is not going to help anyone. In a way it is good because when the horoscope practitioner says that everything is going to be success, people believe that completely and learn to live a positive life thinking that even though they come across a failure they think that it is temporary and move on with live looking forward to having a great success.

When the horoscope practitioner predicts and says that the person might have to undergo lots of failures and the path of success can be really difficult for them, it creates lots of negative energy in the person. They will live their entire life after that thinking that failure is going to be the end for them. They even hesitate to try out new things becoming judgemental that it will end up as a failure. So, even in people who do predictions, there are a few who take everything in a positive note and those people can be said to have only succeeded in their life because they really don't care about their failures.

Why failure is important?

As a famous quote says "Failure is the stepping stone for success". The point I'm trying to make here is that it is not necessary to always undergo a failure beforehand to reach the success state. But I would like to compare both the situations. There is a huge difference between someone reaching the success stone directly and for someone who is reaching the success stone by hitting the failure stone first. In this case, the person who hits the failure stone first will be the superior one according to me. The reason being, they will know the exact value of success and also know how to take it forward. As they already have a prior experience on the failure, they will also have to strength to sustain in the path of success going forward.

At the same time for someone who directly hit success without a failure, there will be a lack of knowledge about the failure. There is a high possibility that they can even break completely for a small failure after hitting the success. The sustainability in Success path can be quite challenging. At the same time, the person who hit the success stone directly will not know the value of the success stone. There is a high possibility that they can slip easily from the success stone and fall down. For some people, it could have even been a walk in the park situation to reach a success stone without the necessity to have undergone any failure in their path. For such people understanding the value of the success stone can be quite challenging.

So finally, in my opinion, I would say, there are definitely possibilities where a success need not always be preceded by failure but if at all it is preceded by failure the person will know and understand the pain and value of success and preserve it.
