Real Man
Since I was a kid, I learned that there were certain standard to be called a ”Real Man”
- A “Real Man” does not cry, crying is only for girls or gay, if you cry, you are not a real man,
- A “Real Man” can control his emotion and feelings, voicing out your feelings is just for girls.
- A “Real Man” is strong and fast. Unlike girls that are soft and slow, it’s ashamed if you’re a boy and you move slow, if you’re a boy, you should always win and first.
- A “Real Man” is independent, he can protect himself, you should not be coward and does not easily give up on a challenge.
Those are just few characteristics of A “Real Man” that I grew up with.
But as years go by, I also learned a lot and I have new standard for me to call you A “Real Man”
A “Real Man” Cries
When God created human, we are given a tear gland, meaning everyone can cry, boys or girls are created equal, so crying is like laughing, it is part of us being a human, it is healthy and normal, abnormal are those people that suppressing their emotion because it is bad for health, Whenever we stop a child or someone who’s crying, we are teaching them to pretend and hide their feelings.A “Real Man” is comfortable to show emotions and feelings
There are studies that prove that women mature easily than men, not because women are born matured already, but because men are being conditioned on their early age to hate emotions.
Maybe that’s the reason why men when they got older, they don’t know how to manage their emotions. Most of them when they got annoyed to their children they spunk them, or worst physical abuse their wives.
Maybe that’s also the reason why a lot of men are not showy or clingy, cannot look you straight in the eye or don’t know how to show they care.
Men are being brainwashed on their early age that those emotions are just for women, but these are natural for everyone to feel,
A “Real Man” knows their Limitations
There’s nothing wrong in developing your skills, but you have to know that there are certain things that you cannot do and you have to seek help.
There are guys that cannot accept a defeat from a lady, a real man are humble and accept the fact that boys and girls are equal and can do every little thing,A “Real Man” need not to prove himself
A man who’s happy with his sexuality, doesn’t need to prove himself to everyone, It is a clear sign of insecurity, the need to announce to the world that he is a straight guy,
One study shows that, those guys that always saying green jokes, bullying gays, and very much convinced that they are far better than girls, are signs of lack of self-confidence,
Being a real guy, doesn’t just shows on physical activity, because nowadays whatever boys can, girls can.
A real man knows his responsibility, being responsible to his family, and having a good heart to everybody.
