The Chakras are an Energy System Inside Us

in #life6 years ago

I have an avid interest in not only reading about chakras but also actively working with my chakras, It is something that I do as often as I can. I have learned of the importance of pouring prana light into my chakra through my Crown Chakra above my head.

All 7 chakras situated inside the human body are different colours and all have a different purpose.

Within the New Age spiritual circles chakras are very well known, almost common place. I am taking this opportunity to share some of my work that I have been doing recently for a small of friends. The knowledge about Chakras have slowly become mainstream over the centuries. There is evidence of partial knowledge of this system as well as other human energy systems in the Chinese, Indian and Native American cultures. Ancient Tibetan scriptures report as many as 72,000 energy channels contained with the human body system.

The slowness of people to generally know about the chakras and other human energy systems can be attributed to a number of reasons like:

  • the control of information by the Church
  • lack of scientific instruments to measure their function
  • the reliance of humans upon the observations of psychic insight – they have been far and few in the past couple of centuries.

However, interest has been hotting up over the span of 50 or more years and this can be attributed to a number of happenings including:

  • Yogananada introducing yoga to the western world in the 1950’s (Autobiography of a Yogi written by Paramahansa Yogananda)
  • The invention of EEG (electroencephalaogram), EKG (electrocardiograph) and (SQUID) (superconducting quantum interference device – now measure energy fields and have shown that a dysfunction in the energy field suggests leads to or suggest disease.
  • Studies have shown a correlation between wave patterns of alternating electrical currents on the body surface and the colours perceived by 12 different aura readers or persons with psychic insight.

Barbara Brennan is a scientist healer with psychic insight who practices and writes books. Barbara and others have developed a rational view of the dimensions of the energy systems and their relationships to our spiritual and healing systems. Barbara Brennan (1993) describes 4 dimensions of energy systems and creative energy systems and their interrelationships –

  1. The physical body – the body that behaves in relationship to the other dimensions
  2. The aura, including the chakras – the personality that we develop
  3. The hara – the foundation for the personality which is created out of our intentions
  4. The core star level – our divine essence

Thank you @angiemitchell. This is a subject that's not discussed in everyday life eventhough it is quite well known in my country. There are places or people that can help to "activate the chakras" for health or maybe spiritual power.
In short, this is something that we don't comprehend yet. Maybe in the future as the technology is more advanced, it will become more important in our life, for example, in maintaining our health.
Hope this make sense.

Yes you make sense and I agree that working with your chakras is beneficial in every way.

In the future if you want to screencap a pic from your mac, use command+shift+4 to screencap part of your screen or right click and "save as" on the pic you're trying to save... but maybe you're writing this on your phone; I'm not sure what your 'workflow' looks like as well but when I see ppl post pics of their computer screens I'm like ...why... it takes 2 seconds... 🙀but I get that sometimes in a pinch/hurry the quick/dirty method works although often I think most people don't know anyways just my 2 steems worth. Nice article though don't think I missed that 😜 👌

No I am not writing on my phone and thanks for your suggestions.

Cmd+shift+4 will let you choose part of your screen with a selection box and then save a .png file on your desktop, thought I'd mention that 'cause it may not be obvious...
