Flying the helicopter to the top of the mountain!

Working in Norway has its perks! That was certainly the case a few weeks ago when the project at hand was installation of a snow monitoring system up in the mountains. The only practical way to get there was by helicopter, so that's what we did:

It's a bit of a challenge when installing equipment in extreme environments. Everything has to be planned down to the very last screw. Anything missing and the whole project could be unsuccessful. The weather is also a huge question mark, but things turned out pretty well on this trip.

There were also some pretty amazing views from up high, not that there was any time to sit and enjoy them of course:

It's always great when my filmmaking hobby meets my regular job. Makes for a little bit of extra adventure!
